Excellent brunch, as usual. Good quality ingredients, hot, and plenty of it. My daughter and I love coming here. Hettie is a delight, loves a cuddle but never begs. Look forward to seeing you later in the spring. Love and hugs to you Charlie

I was really surprised by this find, worth a detour from Chatsworth or other trips in the area to find great homemade food that feels a cut abovs the rest. It had the atmosphere of a cage but the food is that of a good bistro, with a substantial specials board. We struggled to make a choice as there was so much good food on the menu. For info: we made friends with Hettie, a placid and gentle dog who is nonetheless interested in everyone and their food. If you don't like dogs this might be an inconvenience.

My wife and I booked to eat here based on a friends recommendation as we were staying at Chatsworth caravan site. Couldn't have been happier with the choice. It seemed to be a two person operation with what I assume was Charlie in the kitchen and possibly his wife? front of house. Despite the fact there was quite a large party eating in the service couldn't have been better. Our food came out quickly and cooked perfectly. I also noticed the large party all got their starters in quick succession (quite an achievement). Overall good food, good service, nice atmosphere and what I considered value for money. Will definitely return. Thanks guys

surprise surprise! Waiting for 30 minutes to be seated for lunch, and the dishes are far beyond my expectation for this price tag, attention to details and the quantity of food are amazing, from the water, the bread, the soup decoration and sea bass and the vegetable. Perfect! The staffs are very polite and friendly too. Don’t miss this restaurant if you passing through chatsworth house.

Stopped in on the off chance, had aan Egg Mayonnaise sandwich, nicest I have tasted, with big chunks of back bacon, on granary, nice side garnish too. All the food looked good. Good menu something for everyone. And a lovely Labrador who greets you at the door checking you to your table.
